In my "Too old to Backpack?" blog (here) I am planning a 6 month trip away, but over the course of this planning for the last couple of weeks, I have completely forgotten that we are going to my favourite city in a few weeks... Las Vegas... yeah, baby!
So as the familiar well of excitement came over me today and I started to think about what we are going to do, see and, most importantly, eat and I thought I would share what I know from my several visits over the years with you, you lucky thing...
I have been to Sin City 6 times over the years, my first time being back when Lady Diana, Princess of Wales, died; now that was surreal, let me tell you and since then have been back with a couple of different people and consequently had a few different experiences.
This time I am trying to look for coupons and money saving ideas (due to the upcoming trip next year) and lamented, not for the first time, that so many of these sites are geared toward fellow Americans that stay for a couple of nights that go go back a few times a year; so I thought I would put together a "Vegas from an English persons point of view" site!
The different blogs will give you information on as much as I have experienced or reliably heard (I would say "know" but cities change a lot and I'm sure any information I give may be out of date as I press "publish post" - so please don't hold that against me! I will try and add a new blog with a different subject every couple of days - so keep checking back or better still, sign up!
