Because Vegas can be whatever you want it to be; 5* hotels and Michelin restaurants or lounging by the pool all day and clubbing all night or karaoke, Coors light and $1 hot-dogs or none of them or all of them combined in one week :)
I love this city for its people - everyone is really friendly, helpful and nice; they make you feel welcome and ensure that you leave with a smile on your faceAnd the food - oh my god the food. As a born and bred English girl I am slightly over enthusiastic about American food and service but when a Denny s at 3am is better food and waaayy better service than some of the "nice" restaurants I have been to in this country, well, its no wonder I am hooked.
So I have been to Sin City quite a few times but I am always frustrated by how little info there is out there if you don't plan to fly in from Denver or drive in from San Francisco that I thought I would put together a bit if an English Newbies Vegas blog.
I go again in Oct 2011 so will ensure all is up to date from that latest visit - but this blog is meant to give you more of a flavour and point you in the right direction to get up to date info rather than be a bible; I hope its interesting and useful for you; I believe EVERYONE should go to Las Vegas even if just once. I can pretty much guarantee you will find something about it that will have you hooked!
